“Gavin Biggs and the Therian team have created, designed and delivered an outstanding, unique, state-of-the-art veterinary facility.

The Lost Dogs’ Home has been around for almost 100 years; however it is only since 1986 that we have been attending to the needs of stray and unwanted cats. Our cat shelter was in need of a significant update.

We installed 32 cat condos as a test towards creating a better facility. Because of the success of our trial with the Therian Cat Condos, we decided to build something that would meet our needs for the future. After purchasing the factory next door, we set about planning and building the new Lost Cats’ Home. We have 150 cat condos and a new examination and treatment area, along with an isolation ward.

The Lost Cats’ Home doesn’t feel like a shelter. When you enter, you see the three storey condos and beautiful artwork on the walls. It gives one a feeling of being at the zoo. On the mezzanine level of the building, above the pods, is the call centre for our National Pet Register. A brilliant use of the space. Therian have delivered a superb cat facility. My staff and I are absolutely delighted.“
