REFUND & EXCHANGE POLICY
This policy is applicable to all Therian products, whether specified on this website, www.therian.com.au, or otherwise purchased by you. In purchasing any Products or Services from Therian Pty Ltd (herein referred to as “Therian”, “we”, “us”) you agree that you have read, understood and accepted the terms and conditions of the Refund Policy, and will be bound by these terms from the date of your purchase and thereafter. Do not purchase any Products or Services if you do not accept these Terms.
The following policy lasts for 7 days. If 7 days have gone by since delivery of your purchase, unfortunately we will not offer you a refund or exchange for your order.
Orders that have been sent directly back to the manufacturer are ineligible for a refund or exchange.
1. REFUND ELIGIBILITY
To be eligible for a refund, your order must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging that the order was delivered in. Kuranda bed frames, hardware & corners must be unopened and in the original packaging.
Several types of products cannot and will not be returned or refunded under any circumstance. Therian’s commercial products inclusive of this, and therefore are non-refundable and/or returnable.
The following products are refundable:
- Kuranda Products
- Cat Scratches
- Nelson Waterers and Feeders
To process your refund, we require proof of purchase (invoice or order confirmation) emailed to info@therian.com.au along with your request for refund.
There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted at sole discretion of Therian:
(a) Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
(b) Any item that is returned more than 7 days after delivery

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed and refunded back to the original payment method you purchased the products from (Stripe, Direct Deposit, Afterpay or PayPal). Refunds will be made within 30 days from the product being returned to the Therian office.
3. LATE OR MISSING REFUNDS
If you haven’t received a refund yet, please wait for the full 30-day period before contacting Therian.
4. SALE ITEMS
Only full priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot and will not be refunded.
5. EXCHANGES
To be eligible for an exchange, your order must be returned unused, unassembled and in the same condition that you received it. Kuranda bed frames, hardware & corners must be unopened and in the original packaging that the order was delivered in. Please use the bed fabric to confirm the bed size against your animal, do not open or assemble your bed frame, hardware and corners. Exchange requests must be received within 7 days of delivery.
Your order must be repacked exactly as delivered (fabrics MUST NOT be folded, bent or forced tightly into the box), incorrect packaging of the fabric will cause damage upon transit resulting in additional payment. Your exchange item will not be dispatched until payment is made for the damage to the returned items.
To process your exchange, we require proof of purchase (invoice or order confirmation) emailed to info@therian.com.au along with your reason and request for exchange.
There are certain situations where only partial refunds/additional payments are granted at sole discretion of Therian:
(a) Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
(b) If a bed has been assembled or assemble wear is visible upon return to the Therian office.
(c) Any item that is returned more than 7 days after delivery.
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your return. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your exchange. If you are exchanging for a lesser valued item, the difference will be refunded back to the original payment method you purchased the Kuranda products from (Stripe, Direct Deposit, Afterpay or PayPal). If you are exchanging for a higher valued item, the difference must be paid before dispatch of your exchanged item. Refunds will be made within 30 days from the product being returned to the Therian office.
6. SHIPPING YOUR ORDER
Therian can arrange shipping however you will be responsible for paying the shipping costs. Payment must be processed prior to collection of the item you wish to return and prior to dispatch of your exchanged item.
To return your order, please direct the order to the details located under Section 2 in these Terms. Your order must be repacked exactly as delivered (fabrics MUST NOT be folded, bent or forced tightly into the box), incorrect packaging of the fabric will cause damage upon transit resulting in partial refunds.
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs. All Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
If using your own shipping provider you should consider using a traceable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We do not guarantee that we will receive your returned item, or you will receive your exchanged item.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
7. CHANGES TO REFUND POLICY
This policy may be changed from time to time in Therian’s sole discretion and without any prior notice or liability to you or any other person. New versions of this Policy will be updated and placed directly on this page. If you continue to purchase Products and/or Services from us, you will be deemed as having acknowledged changes to the Policy.
