Aeolus Advanced ICU – Dog-Friendly Enclosure
Description
Advanced ICU Dog-Friendly Enclosure
Purpose-built ICU care, tailored for canine patients
Designed specifically for canine patients, this ICU features 304 stainless steel walls for superior durability and polyester alloy flooring that provides excellent insulation while being scratch-resistant. The control panel ensures reliable, efficient operation in busy clinical environments. Key functions include precise oxygen therapy, climate control systems, and easy-to-clean surfaces to maintain hygiene.
The sturdy construction withstands active dogs while maintaining optimal treatment conditions. Fully modular within each range, the 2007 and 2008 ICU units can be configured—whether cat, dog, exotic or recovery—to suit your patient mix, maximising critical care capacity. Units must be matched within the same series for compatibility. Perfect for veterinary hospitals needing a robust ICU solution for large breed recovery and long-term care.
Advanced Technology, Exceptional Care
Built For Canine Comfort
An ultra-durable, calm, controlled environment that reduces stress in critically ill or post surgical dogs—supporting faster recovery while streamlining clinical workflow, allowing clinical teams to manage multiple patients with greater confidence and efficiency.
Advanced Diagnostics
The monitoring and treatment technology in this ICU range helps you observe the qualitative and quantitative condition of your patient continuously and dynamically.
Supports Multiple Medical Treatments
Ability to provide infusions and nebulisation of medication, oxygen therapy, purify the air within the unit, and more.
Increase Capacity
The 2008 model allows you to increase capacity from 2-4 as needed, or cater for larger animals with removeable divider and no central pillar, completely isolating each unit, allowing no cross contamination of fluids.
Improve Patient Outcomes
Fully sealed acrylic oxygen therapy door with O₂ inlet and precise control of temperature and humidity.
Tablet For Each Enclosure
With built in flow meters to each enclosure—1 for a Single 2007 Unit and 1 on each side for the 2008 Dividable Unit.

ICU Technology
The Aeolus Advanced ICU Enclosures allow veterinarians and nursing staff to observe patients without needing to be physically present at the enclosure, improving workflow efficiency, reducing stress on the patient, and enhancing overall care.
Oxygen Concentration Control
For proper oxygen treatments, the Aeolus ICUs provide an airtight compartment, precise oxygen control, and a safe ventilation system.
Rapid response oxygen therapy: Reaches 40% in 5-8 minutes
Rapid Ventilation: Via front door vents plus three stage fan.
Airtight enclosures ensure precision oxygen control (20-80% range).
O₂ supply pressure: 0.8 MPa (pre‑2025.06) or 2 MPa (post‑2025.06)
Open and closed oxygen modes support ambient or high-concentration O₂ therapy.
O₂ running time calculator for accurate billing; maintains ≥40% concentration, 60% in 1 hour.
Constant CO₂ Monitoring & Auto-Expulsion: Real-time sensors monitor CO₂ levels; if elevated, a high-speed fan activates to remove air and bring in fresh air, preventing toxicity—no soda lime changing required.
The emergency vent automatically opens when the oxygen concentration is lower that 18% or there is a power outage.
CO₂ Concentration Control Range: 4000-5000 (PPM)
Precise Temperature & Humidity Control
Real-Time Display
Digital display on control panel for precise temperature and humidity monitoring, enabling precise patient treatment.
Heating
Safe PTC heating technology in all ICU models delivers fast, even heating—ensuring precise thermal support in every individually controlled ICU enclosure (not available in Advanced Oxygen Recovery Enclosure).
Cooling
Each enclosure features its own dedicated air conditioning unit, ensuring precise temperature control. Enclosures include individual units for every compartment, located at the rear for optimal efficiency.
Humidity Control & Nebulisation
Bidirectional Control
Provides ICU staff with accurate humidity data; ultrasonic humidification up to 75% at 35°C, and efficient dehumidification able to reach as low as 40%—helping prevent irritation and drying of respiratory tract.
Built In Nebuliser
0.2 ml/min; 0.5–2 µm particles; 8 ml cup for targeted aerosol therapy
Triple-purification System
Combines UVC light to eliminate bacteria, negative ion generators to reduce odour in sealed treatment chamber, and an external fresh air system when oxygen isn’t required.
- UVC Ultraviolet disinfection light
This light uses ultraviolet rays with a wavelength of 200nm to 280nm. Ultraviolet rays at this frequency eradicate bacteria and effectively kill microbial cells by destroying the molecular structure of microbial cell DNA, and achieving effective sterilisation. - Negative ion purification
High-concentration negative ion generators in a closed treatment chamber can significantly reduce odour pollution enhance the immunity of animals. - External cycle fresh air system
When oxygen supply is not required in treatment, the “external cycle” function can be turned on to help refresh and improve the cabin air quality.
Integrated Monitoring Lighting
Indicator Lights
4 colour-coded nursing indicator light bar: red, white, green, blue for care team communication.
Multi-Mode Lighting:
- Warm light Animal comfort & observation
- Exam light Detailed procedures
- Blue light Suppresses melatonin production keep patient’s alert during day
- Red light Increase melatonin production, aid patients sleep
- UVC light Deep sterilisation (254 nm)
