The ballistic nylon is great for older dogs because it provides the most traction and security when getting on and off the bed. It is the material most similar to pillow beds, if pillow bed’s are what your dog is use to this will be an easy transition. Also if you think your older dog would prefer a shorter bed height, you can purchase the crate legs which will sit the bed 13.5cm off the floor.
