The Standard Kuranda Dog Bed frame is made from poly resin PVC, both affordable and durable. The standard patented bed frame is constructed from co-extruded, furniture-grade materials. Using two different types of plastic that are fused together, the inside material provides great structural strength while the harder outer shell provides a beautiful, furniture grade finish. This outer layer has a glossy fiberglass like finish that is extremely resistant to damage by chemicals, non-corrosive, it is UV resistant and protected in a wide range of environments (can be used indoors and outdoors). The X-Large to XX-Large frames include a steel rod inside the frame to hold up to heavier dogs. This frame is not recommended for heavy chewing dogs.
