Redefine Visibility with LED
The integrated dimmable LED lighting goes beyond mere illumination; it’s designed to care for your patients. It supports natural vision and circadian rhythms, providing a sense well-being. Moreover, it helps patients recognise and feel secure with their caregivers during the crucial recovery period. The calming and relaxing effects of the dimmable LED lighting are an essential part of creating a soothing environment that aids in the healing process.
- Natural Visual Support
LED lighting supports natural vision, making it easier for veterinarians to examine and treat patients effectively. - Circadian Rhythm Regulation
Maintaining a consistent circadian rhythm helps patients remain calm and aids in their recovery. - Caregiver Recognition
Patients can easily recognise their caregivers in a well-lit environment, enhancing trust and reducing stress, a vital component of veterinary care.
D.R.C. Lighting System
In CASCO’s relentless pursuit to improve pet wellness, their proprietary and patented DRC Lighting system further sets the WELLKennels apart from the rest!
Designed to set new standards in hygiene detection, patient monitoring, and recovery, their unique lighting solution promises optimal comfort for animals and operational efficiency for veterinary professionals.
Why Choose the Patented DRC Lighting?
- Enhanced Observation and Comfort
Provides superior visibility for veterinary teams, supports animal vision for caregiver recognition, reduces stress, and maintains a calmer environment. - Precision Hygiene Protocols
UVA light ensures exhaustive detection and cleaning of organic contaminants to improve hygiene standards and prevent cross contamination. - Circadian Rhythm Conservation
Maintain intrinsic sleep-wake cycles, a benefit which is often overlooked. - Operational Efficiency
Streamlined processes for veterinary tasks and monitoring, reducing intervention times. - Precision Monitoring
Non-intrusive, undisturbed nighttime observation crucial patient rest and recovery.
Daylight Mode: Clear Vision, Reduced Stress
Veterinary professionals understand the significance of keen observation. The DRC’s daylight mode offers unparalleled visibility. Mimicking natural daylight, it also supports the patient’s natural vision, helping them recognise caregivers during recovery, leaving them calm and more relaxed.  Thereby reducing stress and anxiety, which can influence recovery duration.
Moreover, the light emulates natural daylight, preserving the patient’s intrinsic circadian rhythm, a critical aspect often overlooked in veterinary practices.
Recovery Mode: Undisturbed Rest
Recovery hinges on quality sleep. The DRC’s red light offers an ingenious solution, allowing for continuous observation without disrupting the patient’s rest. Considering that many mammals, including cats and dogs, lack cone receptors for the red spectrum, this light mode ensures they are not disturbed from their sleep cycles, enhancing their rest and recuperation and ultimately their recovery.
Cleaning Mode: Precision Hygiene
In a veterinary setting, cleanliness is not just about appearance – it is about safety. The DRC’s blue harmless UVA light transforms cleaning protocols by making visible what is often invisible. When illuminated, organic materials like blood, urine, or mucus fluoresce, enabling meticulous cleaning that could be missed by the human eye. With the Cleaning mode activated, staff can ensure every corner is pristine, maximizing biosecurity and minimizing cross-contamination risks.

- Tailored Patient Comfort
Built-in heat mats allow veterinarians to provide individualised care by tailoring temperature settings to suit each patient’s specific needs. - Enhanced Recovery
Maintaining the perfect temperature promotes faster recovery, reducing the time animals spend in clinics and improving overall patient outcomes. - Optimal Healing Environment
Veterinarians can create an ideal healing environment, ensuring patients are relaxed and comfortable throughout their stay.
Optimized Ventilation & Infection Control
WELLKennels ventilation kits significantly curtails odour, assures fresh air provision, and dilutes airborne infectious agents for improved infection control.
Offering 2 types of ventilation:
Passive Ventilation
Coming as standard, all WELLKennel doors boast ventilation holes that have been carefully sized for cats and dogs, ensuring adequate ventilation while protecting patients from potential injury via teeth or claw entrapment.
In addition, each kennel has its own internal ceiling vent, enabling consistent air circulation from the top and front of the kennel.
Active Ventilation System
Our unique Ventilation Kit connects to the ceiling vent to convert to ‘active’ ventilation. The use of an external extraction fan enhances the air circulation. Additionally, the Kit can be easily connected to the clinic’s HVAC system to further enhance circulation and extraction, often necessary for larger establishments.
