The Quiz
- The Therian Quiz is organized by Therian and will take place at their stand (Stand 70) during the NZVA Annual Conference.
- The Quiz is open to all attendees of the NZVA Annual Conference at the Takina Events Centre, Wellington, who meet the eligibility criteria as specified in these Terms and Conditions.
- This Quiz ends Friday 21st June 2024 at 12:20PM NZST (10:20am AEST).
Eligibility
- To be eligible for this contest the entrant must:
- Entrants must be at least 18 years of age and must attend the conference in person.
- Entrants must be a veterinarian, veterinary nurse, veterinary technician, veterinary practice manager, or work for a veterinary practice.
- Scan the QR Code provided at Therian’s stand (Stand 70) using a smartphone or compatible scanning device.
- Fill out the competition form with the required details, including full name, contact information, and answers to the three quiz questions.
- How many species of penguin is New Zealand home to?
- What is the only bird that can fly backwards?
- What is the world’s largest marsupial?
Prize
- The Winner will receive a Google Pixel Tablet 128GB with Charging Speaker Dock. Box includes:
- Pixel Tablet
- Charging Speaker Doc
- 1.50m power cable and Power adaptor
- Safety & warranty booklet and Support card
- The Prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and cannot be redeemed for cash or any other alternative.
Winner Selection and Announcement
- The winner will be announced at the Therian stand (70) on Friday 21st June 2024 at 12:30pm NZST (10:30am AEST), and if present, can collect their prize.
- The winner will also be announced on the Therian website and through their official social media channels.
- If the winner is not present when announced, they will be contacted via the contact information provided in the competition form.
- If the winner responds within 5 days, Therian will send the iPad to them via courier service.
- If the winner cannot be contacted or does not respond within 5 days of the initial notification, the Prize will be forfeited, and an alternative winner will be selected.
General Conditions
- One entry per person. Multiple entries will be invalid.
- All entries that do not meet the eligibility criteria will be ineligible for entry into this competition.
- By participating in the Therian Quiz Competition, participants acknowledge and accept:
- That they have read, understood, and agreed to abide by these Terms and Conditions.
- Any entry submitted with incorrect answers will not be selected as the winner.
- Even with all three answers correct, winning is not guaranteed, as more than one entrant could have correct answers.
- The decisions made by Therian regarding all aspects of the Competition, including the selection of the winner, are final and binding.
- Any entry not complying with these terms and conditions or entered with incorrect details will be invalid.
- Entries by employees of Therian (including its affiliated and related companies) and their immediate family members (children, parents, siblings, spouses etc.) will be invalid.
- Therian reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Competition, or amend these Terms and Conditions, at its sole discretion and without prior notice.
- The personal information collected from Entrants during the Competition will be used solely for the purpose of administering the Competition and will be handled in accordance with Therian’s Privacy Policy.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction
- The Competition and these Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of Australia and New Zealand. Any disputes arising in connection with the Competition shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Australia and New Zealand.
- This Competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with, Apple Inc. or any other third party.
